Acoustic Removal and Interior & Exterior Painting Process
INTERIOR PAINTING PROCESS:
PREPERATION:
• Move any furniture outside or to the middle of the room
• Cover all floor (tile & carpet) with drop cloths, tape & paper
• Cover all furniture with painters plastic
• Remove all switch plates & tape plugs
• Remove window coverings
• Patch any holes or small nicks
• Scraping, sanding or priming as needed
PAINTING BEGINS:
• Ceiling is the first thing painted
• Brush work and roll all corners
• Spray and back roll walls for solid coverage
CLEAN UP:
• Remove all drop cloths & plastic
• Move all furniture back in place
• Vacuum carpet & clean floors or any paint dust
• Remove all trash made of plastic, tape & paper
• Walk thru with customer making sure they are 100% satisfied
NO MONEY DOWN
until job is complete. Full payment is due when customer is fully satisfied.
EXTERIOR PAINTING PROCESS:
PREPERATION:
• Powerwash: Washes off all cobwebs and dirt
• Caulk and cracks and fill holes
• Cover all plants, cement & windows with plastic and dropcloths
• Scrape and prime where necessary
GETTING STARTED:
• Spray all stucco
• Paint trim by hand
• Mask the stucco with tape and paper
• Spray the undereaves and back roll if necessary
CLEAN UP:
• Final walk around the home
• Touch Up
• Walk thru with customer

until job is complete. Full payment is due when customer is fully satisfied.
ACOUSTIC REMOVAL PROCESS:
PREPERATION:
• Customer removes any breakables and knick-knacks
• Move furniture outside or to the middle of the room
• Cover the floors with drop cloths
• Cover the furniture & floors with painters plastic
• Tape the plastic ot the floors & walls
• Everything is comletely covered
PROCESS BEGINS:
• Spray water on ceiling to loosen the acoustic
• Scraping the acoustic off with a 12 inch blade with a bag attatched to limit clean up
• Texturing (hand trowel) to cover dry wall seams & screw holes
• Hand trowel finish is a smooth finish with a few skips in the texture (used in upper-class homes such as Rancho Santa Fe)
• Once the texturing is finished the clean up begins
CLEAN UP:
• Remove all plastic & drop cloths
• Vacuum all floors for any acoustic dust
NEXT DAY:
• Plastic everything again, covering floors and furniture
• Spray water based primer on all new texture
• One-hour dry time for primer to dry
• Inspect ceiling for any holes or heavy paint spots missed with texturing
• Spray the finish paint
• Clean up process again.
